How to get Involved

We recognize the importance of public participation and encourages you to help shape the future of public transportation.

There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available including: working at fundraising events, advocacy, peer support, entering data, cleaning equipment, mailings, etc. Contact us and get involved.

  • Get involved with one of our advocacy groups:

Concerned Citizens for Improved Transportation (CCIT) - CCIT is interested in the quality and quantity of the public transportation services for the greater Grand Rapids area. CCIT has worked hard to expand area transportation service levels in addition to making sure that existing services are provided with the highest level of customer satisfaction. Faith In Motion (FIM) - FIM needs the support and involvement of your faith community as we work together for a comprehensive transit system in our community providing freedom of movement for all. As a member there is no obligation to take part in any FIM activities or to contribute financially. We will simply keep you informed about opportunities to take part in coalition activities and encourage involvement. Click here to sign up.

  • We want to hear from you:

What type and level of transit services do you envision for Kent County in the future?
Do you have any concerns with the current services? Are you aware of what is operating today in Kent County? Any suggestions for improvements?
What type of improvements would encourage you to ride public transportation?
